Louisa Cullen was born in around 1868 in Upton, Long Sutton, Somerset to George Cullen & Harriet Scriven.
In the 1871 census she is 5 years old living in Long Sutton with her parants, George & Harriet with brothers & sisters Annie 11, Mary Jane 9, Charles 6 and Elizabeth 7 months.
In the 1881 census we find the family at Upton, Long Sutton. As well as George and Harriet we have Annie 21, Mary J 20, Charles 17, Louisa 15, Elizabeth 10, Ellen 8, Frederick 5 and Frank 4. Louisa has no occupation however her 2 older sisters are glove makers and both her father and older brother are agricultural labourers.
In the 1891 census the family are at Bowley Buildings in Long Sutton. With George and Harriet we find Louisa aged 24 a launderess as well as Ellen 17, Frederick 15 and Frank 13.
On 16th April 1896 Louisa married Tom Rue in Pitney. The witnesses were Oliver Rue and Elizabeth Cullen.
In 1901 Tom and Louisa Rue are living in Long Sutton (Bouley ? Buildings). He was 27 a general labourer, she was 33 a laundress.
In 1911 Tom and Louisa are living back in Pitney. He was 37 a farm labourer, she was 43. This census confirms them as having had no children born.
Louisa died early in 1929 aged about 62 in or around Taunton.
