Edward Rue was born on 6th December 1897 in Tewgoed, Penllyne, Bridgend. His parents were Edward Rue, a general labourer and Mary nee Jenkins.
Edwards parents had had 6 children before him, but only 2 of them had lived for any more than a week or two – Thomas in 1888 and Margaret in 1890.
Edward died before the end of December 1897, his death being registered in 1897. I have no further details.
