Edward James Rue was born in Penllyne, Bridgend on 10th June 1892 to Edward Rue, a general labourer, and Mary nee Jenkins.
It would appear that he maybe wasn’t baptised, as his brothers & sisters were baptised in Llangan Chruch, but he appears not to have been. I obtained the confirmation of his birth from the GRO certificate.
His parents already had a son, Thomas born in 1888, and a daughter, Margaret born in 1890 and had lost a son, David as a young baby in 1886.
I could find no burial for Edward, however his death was registered in the 3rd quarter of 1892 when he would have been only a couple of months old at most.
His parents went on to have 3 further children, none of whom made it to their first birthday.
