Edith Emma Rue was baptised in Llangan Parish Church on 30th January 1894. Her parents were Edward Rue, a gardener, and Mary nee Jenkins. The family lived at Tewgoed, Penllyn.
Edward and Mary had had 3 sons and 1 daughter before Edith, although the first and last sons, David in 1886 and Edward James in 1892, had died very young. Thomas was 6 and Margaret was 4 when Edith was born.
I do not have any further details on Edith, other than to know she was unfortunately buried on 26th March 1894 aged just 3 months, still in Llangan.
Her parents had two further sons in 1895 and 1897, both of whom also died as babies.
