Joyce was born in Neath in early 1921 to Albert Rue and Dolly (nee Hiscox). Joyce was the 4th of 7 children born to Albert and Dolly, having 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Joyce married Latimer Lewis in Neath in 1942. I don’t know anything about him, I don’t know if he died, or if they divorced or when this would have happened.
My Dad has a recollection of Jocye living in a caravan on the family farm in Brirth Dir, Skewen.
Joyce then married Jim Phillips, also in Neath in 1958.
Jim and Joyce had a daughter born in 1959.
I believe that Joyce died during the 1990’s, still in Neath, but can’t find the record yet.
