Gwyneth Eileen Rue was born in the later half of 1914. Her parents were Thomas Rue and Beatrice Elizabeth Rue nee Jones. They lived in Llanfarach Farm in Llantrissant, Glamorgan.
Gwyneth had one sister, Annie Jane (known as Nancy) who was born in 1920.
Gwyneth married Leonard Radford in 1933 and they had two daughters, born in 1934 and 1936. The family lived in Llanfarach Farm.
When Gwyneths father, Thomas, died in 1935 then Gwyneth appears to have inherited from him, at which time she was living at Mid Farm.
When Gwyneths mother, Beatrice, died in 1945 she inherited a significant sum. She and Leonard appear to be living at Llanfarach Farm again, although it seems that her sister Annie had taken over the farm itself.
